Where I come from, the manatee is a fierce mammal. Both my parents were lost in a manatee accident. I was only 8 yeas old when it happened. I vowed from that day forward that I would personally tame each and every manatee that swam in the warm canals of lake Michigan.

What is Doodle Day?
You know how some old women meet up and chat over some intense crochet/knitting? We are those women, except we draw random things instead of making blankets out of yarn. You don't even really need to talk or gossip either. I guess you could also sort of compare it to an AA meeting. Meet up on Wednesday at 6:30PM, drink coffees, teas, maybe eat some delicious treats and draw. We do not discriminate; all drawing styles welcome. From pen and pencil, to cutting a stencil, we like it all. the only thing that's required is a good attitude. You do not have to commit yourself to show up every week, you can attend as you wish.Feel free to bring your friends, and share your supplies. When you get home scan your work and add it to the doodle day flickr pool. After a year or so of Doodle Days we plan on compiling the best or all of the doodle day submissions into a bound Annual.
